CW2 OER Writing Guide
The CW2 OER evaluates an experienced warrant officer serving as a technical leader and advisor. At this level, evaluators expect deeper system-level expertise, ability to manage programs independently, and growing influence on unit operations through technical authority.
Typical duties:
Senior technical advisor to company and battalion leadership on MOS-specific operations
Manages programs, systems, or shops with significant equipment and personnel responsibility
Develops and implements SOPs for technical operations and maintenance procedures
Conducts technical inspections and certifies unit readiness in area of expertise
Mentors WO1s, NCOs, and Soldiers on advanced technical skills and procedures
Represents the unit at higher-level technical working groups and conferences
